Ways of Knowing Retreat

The Ways of Knowing Retreat

"Follow that will and that way which experience confirms to be your own." (C.G. Jung)

This 3 day retreat is available here and throughout Australia to introduce the heart of the work of the Institute to groups. It progressive path of discovery into how you see and integrate your own inner knowledge. We all have our own ways of knowing. It requires empowerment and commitment to fully own and effectively apply these. Ways of Knowing enables individuals, groups and communities to embrace the call of Spirit in the face of opportunities, challenge or adversity. Many people find the current times to be full of change, challenge and perhaps hardship. Yet there is also a growing sense of new realities emerging and the actual capacity we each have for joyful, and even ecstatic lives. Our sessions, courses and retreats are opportunities for you to gain new insight into these possibilities, accessing your inner resources and discovering real ways forward through your own, sometimes hidden, ways of knowing. By bringing awareness of these personal abilities to whatever you are experiencing, the creative potential within you and life can be realised and lived. Cost depends on arrangements.

"Who can follow the Tao, or nature? It is very difficult. Its easy to observe and follow the things you like, but following nature means also noticing, remembering and following the things you don't like. That is a subtle project! I don't mind noticing what I want to do and what I like, but, wow, its tough picking up on the things which are absurd or unintentional, and that is where the most important things are! Once I have become aware of things I normally don't notice, I come to a second problem, which the Taoists did not talk about much; that is, how to unfold, or 'cook', awareness and events so that they reveal their essence. The flow of events, of nature, or the Tao, becomes meaningful only when we interact with, amplify and unfold its contents. Otherwise, it is only a mystery waiting to be discovered" (Arnold and Amy Mindell).
