Now that the stage has been set (the houses) and the backdrop is clear (the signs) you meet the characters (the planets). You’ll be introduced to the cast of astrological characters and meet the planets individually. The qualities, meaning, and mythology of each planet is discussed, including the nodes. You’ll learn how the planets communicate with each other through dignity and aspects coming to understand how the birth chart describes unique personality patterns and karmic challenges. Class discussion will centre on students examples. We’ll also define the 8 lunar phases and summarise their importance in describing the pulse of the birth chart. |
