Back to top COURSE FEES Fees are paid per subject enrolled in per term, and are payable prior to commencement. Terms have been structured to offer as much flexibility as possible. Fees for each subject are listed next to the subject name in the relevant term timetable. There are no additional fees for enrolment, Recognition of Prior Learning applications, issuing of qualifications or statements of attendance. Receipts will be forwarded within 1 week of enrolment. All course fees are inclusive of GST where applicable. Concessions 10% discount applied to holders of the Seniors Card and for students on other pensions. If this applies to you, then it is best to enroll over the phone, by mail, fax or in person. Back to top RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) examines the skills and knowledge you have developed over a period of time. RPL may be granted for students who have previously completed all the course work as set out in a particular subject. If you feel this is the case, you can apply for recognition of prior learning based on previous qualifications or experience. All RPL application outcomes are at the discretion of the course facilitator. Applications for RPL’s are available on line by clicking on RPL form
As long as all required information is submitted, please allow 10 days for processing.
Please be aware that some of the programs are predominantly experiential and therefore may not be appropriate to grant RPL. Back to top TERMS AND CONDITIONS A minimum of 50% of subject/s fees are due at time of enrolment to reserve your place.
Full payment is required prior to commencement of your course. Change your mind? If you change your mind about which course to do, you can transfer your enrolment from one subject to another in that term up to the commencement date of the first subject. No extra admin fees apply to this transaction. Once the subject you are enrolled in has commenced all fees are non refundable so please choose carefully. Fees will be refunded in full if a subject is cancelled (which may happen occasionally) or If withdrawal is notified by the student to Earth Institute up to 2 weeks before the subject commencement date. A credit in the amount of any fees paid will be kept for up to 12 months for withdrawal notification received within 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the subject.
Pre and Co-requisites Some subjects, certificates and diplomas have pre and or co requisites in the form of prior study or experience. Please read the information fully and check that you have met all requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure these requirements are met prior to enrolment to avoid any disappointment.
