THE ESSENTIAL SHAMAN WORKSHOPS
SHAMANIC JOURNEY Overview: This diploma is a professional training in shamanic, energetic and other soul centred orientations to healing and transformation through working with nature and spirit. It is a unique and leading edge training at the forefront of the changes happening with the earth, its habitats and inhabitants. Participating in this training is an exciting adventure of self-discovery as you experience the fascinating interface of shamanic and energetic healing as it relates to therapy as the care of the soul. Graduates of this training are eligible to apply for professional membership of the Energetic Healing Association. Energetic and shamanic healing are creative, intuitive and soul centred ways to work with wellbeing, guidance, empowerment and the expansion of consciousness. The term 'soul' relates to our depth, mystery and its connection with others and the world around us. In addition to shamanic and energetic healing, this course includes the principles and practices of ecopsychology, ecotherapy and transpersonal psychotherapy. Ecopsychology is an emerging professional field that embraces ecology, psychology and spirituality. It explores how our personal, social and other environments influence our psyche and our sense of connection or disconnection in that environment. This provides a framework for the practice of ecotherapy - how the earth nutures us and we in turn can care for the earth. Who is this course for:This program provides students with the awareness, training and abilities to step into their own personal evolution and that of their clients in relation to the earth, embodiment, the soul and the journey of wholeness. For those without previous training this course enables graduates to work in private practice with eligibility for professional membership with the Energetic Healing Association. Ongoing mentoring, supervision and further professional development are available upon completion of the diploma. For those wishing to extend their existing professional healing, consulting or therapeutic work. What makes this course unique? This course is the only program of its kind to provide an effective synthesis of time honoured and leading edge healing practices. Its effectiveness lies in its integration of psychological theory, perennial wisdom and contemporary therapeutic understandings and knowledge relevant to our current times and emerging future. Course structure: This is a two year part time program comprised of weekly classes and intensives. The first year focuses on skill development and foundational knowledge within the context of self transformation, shamanic & energetic healing, and mind-body counselling. The second year deepens this journey of transformation, consciousness and skills development. The skills, knowledge and ways of being that are further developed throughout this year are brought into ethical and professional application.
Fees are paid per term. There are 4 terms per year. Diploma costs are approx $5,000 in total for first year and approx $5,700 in total for second year. Accreditation The Diploma of Shamanic and Energetic Healing is accredited by the Energetic Healing Assocation. THE ESSENTIAL SHAMAN WORKSHOPS The ancient art of shamanism, with its medicine women and men of power, knowledge and healing, has great application to the needs of your life and our world today. Its transformative practices can bring remarkable change to any area of your life, from spirituality and health to work and relationships. Join with Paul Perfrement for one or both of these unique workshop intensives that journey into the heart of this path and its relevance to you and your unique intentions and goals. These workshops (plus some additional study) also provide a pathway for entry into the second half of first year in the accredited practitiioner training; the DIploma of Shamanic and Energetic Healing. THE ESSENTIAL SHAMAN: SPIRITUALITY AND HEALING WORKSHOP The archetype of the shaman is accessible to all of us. For those drawn to work in this way, this workshop provides an activation of your soul power and life force to begin or further your transforming capacity to care for the soul - of individuals, communities, planet earth and yourself. You wil be supported in accessing the path of the shaman in your inner self and in alignment with nature and spirit. Within shamanism,, power has very little to do with control or force. Instead, it empowers your capacity to see, to work in connection with the energies of nature and spirit (and of all that is presenting at the time) and the ability to act with potency. Learn how to align with your inner shaman to access your power to manifest success and abundance in your life, relationships and work. Structure: Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 August 08, 9am to 5pm

Shamanic journey is a classical and cross cultural method of healing, empowerment and divination drawn from the traditional practices of medicine men and women. This program is a series of 6 shamanic journey experiences within a group context. Processes and practices for the integration and application of these experiences to ones self and ones life will be provided. This program is for those wishing to open to the support, wisdom and guidance of nature and spirit in their life journeys in a safe, progressive and enlivening way. The shamanic journey course is for those at the beginning as well as the more experienced journeyer. "Shamanic Journey is one of my favourite forms of healing and divination.
